The iconic “Do Choti (english translation - ‘Two Braids’) of the school going girl, smiling, hopping there way to school, helping & caring for all, and spreading happiness, they are adored by all be it elderly or young.

“Do Choti (english translation - ‘Two Peaks’) also represents two peaks (of the mighty Himalaya). Two peaks with a rising sun between them.

We at “Do Choti endeavor to spread the message to be as the rising sun; the modern age Prometheus; empowering masses - rising, shining, showering its pleasant warmth and light everywhere, while being as humble and loveable as the school going girls with “Do Choti .

No. All directors and staff members are volunteers. We strongly believe that together we can make a real difference to the society, hence despite our personal and professional commitments, we donate our time and energy to the organization.

We have a transparent system of handling the money. All the transactions are done electronically or by cheques, we do not make cash based transactions thus leaving an audit trail. All the invoices and total funds received are maintained at our website accessible in public domain. The balace sheets will be audited by a registered Charted Accontant every 5 years as mention in the trust deed.

You can be assured that all transactions on our site are safe. Online security is a primary concern and that is why we have partnered with ICICI bank to provide safe gateway. We do not store your banking information.

Not yet, we are under process of getting a 80G non-profit organization status. – Alt – Yes. As Do Choti is a 80G non-profit organization, your donations are tax deductible. When you donate to us, you will receive a receipt acknowledging your donation that can be used for tax-filing purposes.

All donations to World Vision are tax exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Our receipt carries this message and the receipt will suffice for claiming tax exemption. The tax rebate is 50% of your contribution to us.

Unless you specify which project(s) you wish the money to go to, Do Choti will put your donation in a general fund. We do not use any portion of your donation to cover our operational expenses.
